Brand identity additive rear light concept
clear.edition is a visionary rear light concept exploring the intersection of brand identity and additive manufacturing. Developed as a functional prototype using PolyJet 3D printing and an ultra-clear multi-material, the project demonstrates how advanced production techniques can shape the future of automotive design.
At its core lies the idea of “light personality” – the translation of brand character into a tangible, visual identity. Through generative design, three distinct light personas were created, each representing a unique expression of a brand’s core values. The result: rear lights that are visually related yet individually unique, communicating emotion, intent, and identity through form and material. Implemented into an existing vehicle geometry, the concept shows how innovation can seamlessly integrate into current automotive frameworks while pushing the boundaries of personalization and design language. clear.edition visualizes what’s next:
